You call the number on this site. The call goes to an independent provider or a partner who works with providers in the Arlington area. The person you talk to is not a Wortharea Windows & Siding employee. They work for or with the businesses that do the work.

What They Ask

The call is quick. Expect:

• What is wrong?
• How many windows or walls?
• How old is the house?
• Any storm damage?
• When do you want it done?

Then they book a visit.

What You Ask

Ask straight questions. Expect straight answers.

• How long have you worked on houses like mine?
• Insert or full frame? Why?
• What glass for my sun exposure?
• Product warranty? Labor warranty?
• What if you find rot?
• How long will it take?

Get the main points in writing.

Red Flags

Big cash deposit up front. Price good only today. Nothing in writing. No proof of insurance. Door knockers right after a hailstorm who push you to sign. Any of these? Slow down.

After the Visit

You get a written quote. Read it at home. Check that every window or wall is listed. Check the products, labor, cleanup and the plan for rot. Ask about anything unclear.

Older Homes

Got an older house? Say so on the call. Mention pier and beam, original windows or past patch jobs. The provider will plan extra time to check openings and trim. That means fewer surprises on the quote.

Who Decides
